Purpose
To identify resources (eg Web pages) aimed at particular people and define profiles that can be applied to services.
Local variations
Additions and changes should be submitted through esd-toolkit to maintain one national standard
Origin
LGAL was built by the Local Authority Web sites National Project (LAWs) from audience lists used by various local authorities. It includes terms proposed for LGCL which were considered more appropriate for audience profiles.
Status
Draft version 0.01 subject to refinement from Customer Profiling work and from improved inclusive terminology.
