iCoCo (Institute of Community Cohesion) A national 'one stop shop' for cohesion practitioners. The website features toolkits, reports, guidance and a library of projects and schemes 'which exemplify good practice in community cohesion'.
Caia Park Partnership Ltd Funding recruited an outreach worker to introduce ICT learning and digital storytelling to the 12 groups of the partnership and target the digitally excluded.
Menter Iaith Sir Cearffili A project that encouraged Welsh language speakers to engage with ICT througth the use of Welsh language digital story telling software.
Merit (Haeddu) Peer to peer training was used to devleope ICT skills. A project developer was employeed to open, manage and support the classes. A wide range of skills were taught.
Somali Progressive Association The Somali Advice Centre supports the Somali and wider community with IT training and English lessons. These help people take citizenship and driving theory tests.
ITpreneurs (Netherlands) ITpreneurs develops innovative technology solutions for cultural and social issues. "Nederlands aan het Werk" prepares immigrants for work, learning and family life in Dutch society.
Urban Circle Productions IT equipment was used to allow members to produce their own music, shop online, research and learn. A communitee radio station went digital and linked with two other local projects.
Ymlaen Ceredigion Two outreach officers worked directly with 4 groups in Ceredigion. The identified groups learnt new skills in user generated content, digital audio, digital imaging & creating digital video.
Gwent Association For The Blind Workshops introduced people with vision impairments to digital solutions to support their independence. Classes were adapted to the needs of its participants and covered technologies to aid them.
APEX s.r.o In the field of mobility for the visually impaired, the company APEX primarily develops and manufactures acoustic and radio systems facilitating orientation for the visually impaired.
Enable Ireland Enable Ireland supports 3,500 children and adults with disabilities and their families and provide services in local communities throughout Ireland.
Newport Chinese Community Centre Basic web design and other PC skills were taught to the Chinese community of Newport. The project aimed to empower adults, especially non English speakers.

Mewn Swansea The Mewn Swansea project worked with women from Black and Minority Ethnic community groups and provided opportunities for training in digital photography and digital story telling as well as pc care.
Deudraeth CYF Deudraeth Cyf provided a menu of accessible IT training from a basic to moderate level together with mentoring for 500 people new to broadband, these then went out and taught others.
BFE - Buntes Fernsehen Engerwitzdorf (Colourful TV Engerwitzdorf) Colourful community television is the television of the future. Engerwitzdorf is the first colour television community in Austria.
Ffunnon Las & Pant Glas Community Association A new printer allowed the project to produce their own marketing materials and newsletters. This resulted in higher levels of attendance.
Carpenters Connect A 'wired-up communities' project that became one of the leading community based Interactive Digital TV services. Serves 600 flats on Carpenters Estate, providing online services via Digital TV.
Together we Can Portal that provides communities with information about sources of help; including funding, advice and easy access to government documents.
Reading Circle An online reading circle based in Kirklees that is accessible by post, email, online and iDTV. Users share views about books and up to 400 people submit comments each month.
Carpenters Connect Carpenters Connect provides services through iDTV for the 600 flats in Carpenters Estate, Newham, East London
Gigabites Youth Project Funding for the provision of a ICT Project Worker enabled the group to use technology attracted the marginalised and disaffected young people in the community.
Neath Operatic Society Technology was used to improve the ICT knowledge of members. CAD was used for producting stage and lighting plans and also to edit recordings of performances.
Taff Housing Association Tutor led training was used to imporve the skills of older people within the area. The focus was on basic ICT skills and how they could improve the day to day lives of the users.
The Foothold Group Project focused on empowering members of several groups throughout the area to use IT facilities within their activities. The training was carried out by staff using specialist software.
North Wales Women's Centre Funding provided a number of PC's, a printer and other peripherals. This equipment enabled the project to give supported informal access to ICT for women in the Communities First areas in Rhyl.
PC Care A PC suit allowed the community access to informal and flexible ICT skills workshops. Full time staff taught members on all aspects of PC care.
Clase Caemawr Community Partnership Initial taster sessions were used to allow local people to become familiar with ICT. This was then expanded to produce a website among other things.
Rhymney Communities First Partnership Frre internet and ICT access was avaliable to local people, a mentor was emploed to support and assist people within the target groups.
Carmarthenshire Association Of Voluntary Services The staff demonstrated how digital content for a Blog can be captured using mobile phones. Short videos, digital images and digital audio were captured and loaded onto the blog site.
Yale College Likely Stories Project Digital sotrytelling was used to reduce digital exclusion in and around Wrexham. The project focused on reducing real and percieved barriers to inclusion.
Nopola News Nopola News is a meeting place for the inhabitants of Kyyjärvi and people who are interested in the affairs of Kyyjärvi.
Gavo They had a Community ICT suite that facilitated the learning of basic IT and provided the community with access to ICT equipment. Project is aimed at recriuting volunteers.
Right From The Start Parenting Programe Parents and also their children worked together to improve their ICT skills. Training was run by volunteers. The general comminity was also given access.
VALREC (Valleys Race Equality Council) Through this project migrant workers and young people in valleys communities have been able to share their experiences of life, whilst learning to use digital technologies.

Niace Dysgu Cymru The project was based on the oral story, the tradition of telling and converting stories which had been passed down for generations into digital stories using ICT media.
Nico Mon Enterprises Funding from Communities @One enabled the project to run a small team of 2 full time and 1 part time mobile trainers, who delivered tasters and informal training in local community centres.
